Why having clarity is important?

Clarity is knowing what to focus on. Clarity is knowing how much time to spend on something. Clarity is knowing how to make that time. Our time is limited, and you can’t waste time sitting and thinking too long. Clarity is one thing that’s often missing from a plan. Having a bad target is better than having no clear target. Remember this!

Thinking of clarity. Clarity is more important than anything else.

I spoke about focus but what is focus without clarity. What is focus without knowing what to focus on.

Came across this post by Ray Dalio

Realise that you are simultaneously everything and nothing - and decide what you want to be.

This decision is what is clarity.

Knowing what you want or want to do is not always clear but doing what seems relevant is a good starting point. This gives you a clear task or goal to focus on.

Clarity is not about being right. It is about not wasting time finding clarity. Thinking forever is not going to lead to anything valuable or give you clarity. Doing what you think is needed and then re-evaluating is.

If you are struggling follow these principles. Pick one thing you like. If you like multiple things, chose one, that is the prerequisite. Second, think it you can get paid for it. Some of you might not agree on this but this is the most important thing if you want to keep doing it. You need finances, to live, to thrive, to be able to do what you want to. Third, are you good at it? Can you do it alone? Where is the demand?

Once you have these answers, you are all set. Now draw a plan and then you focus and achieve.

The context of his statement was more about how small and irrelevant we are when it comes to expanse and age of the Universe and humanity and what we can achieve but still how relevant we are in guiding the evolution.

My thought: what makes us relevant is not what we are in terms of universe. We know about it because we have managed to solve mysteries and develop theories about it and have tested them to ascertain they are logical and make sense. That is relevant.

That relavance came because someone somewhere at some point either had a divine intervention to guide them to discover the secrets or we had the brains and metal ability to do it on our own.

I am not sure about the former though it sounds more logical to me, given stumbling across so many things on our own as a race seems surreal and too much of a coincidence to me.

However, I like to believe the latter is important to believe in because that is the only way any divine force is going to help you. Only if you look, you will find treasures, not something that will fall in your kitty if you don’t believe and don’t work to get it.

That is what I feel is where I am at with this post. I need clarity, all of us need clarity. That’s the first step towards getting anywhere and for that you need to work to get clarity.

There are more things that one needs to consider, second being focus. Laser focus but what to focus on is clarity. Also, if there are lots of things that you need to do to get somewhere, th clarity is how to break it into small achievable steps and what to do first.

What to avoid, trying to do too many things at the same time. That’s going to get you nowhere. Unless you have got enough money that you can have other people doing those things for you and you being a manager, that is never a good idea. As a single person, you can focus of 1, maybe 2 things if you really want results.

It took me a life time to realize this and I feel I should have listened to the Titans.

But I feel, if you get clarity you can pick up pace and achieve at any stage of your life.

There is one obstacle, time, which you will need to master and I will talk about it soon. How can you buy or sell time and how much can you profit from it.
